The Château Haut-Brion 2015 Magnum, from Pessac-Léognan, reveals a gravelly terroir. Blended from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, it captivates with its notes of dark fruits and violet. Its silky, fresh palate makes it a perfect choice for cellaring, to be enjoyed with game or aged cheeses.
Château Haut-Brion
A pioneer of great Bordeaux wines since the 16th century, this mythical estate embodies the excellence of the Pessac-Léognan terroir.
- Terroir: Gravelly and clay-limestone soils of the Pessac-Léognan appellation, imparting a distinctive minerality and rare elegance to the wines.

Tasting notes for Château Haut-Brion Haut-Brion 2015 Magnum
To the eye – A deep garnet robe with dense reflections, of an almost velvety texture, betraying perfect maturity and remarkable concentration.
On the nose – First, aromas of blackcurrant and fresh blackberry, followed by deeper notes of violet, liquorice and dark chocolate, all lifted by a mineral hint evoking iron and flint.
On the palate – A broad and generous attack, carried by silky-fine tannins, a lively acidity and a chalky minerality that stretches into an enchantingly long finish.
Serve at 16-18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.
Vintage 2015
A sunny and balanced vintage, where the summer heat ripened the grapes without altering their freshness or tension.
- Aging potential: To be cellared for 20 to 30 years in a temperature-controlled cellar (13-15°C, humidity of 70-75%), away from light and vibrations.
