Château Haut-Brion 2005, Premier Grand Cru Classé of Pessac-Léognan, draws its essence from gravel and clay soils. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, aged in oak barrels, it unveils aromas of dark fruits and a chalky minerality. On the palate, it combines elegance and structure, with silky tannins. Perfect for long aging, it elevates red meats and game.

Tasting notes for Château Haut-Brion 2005
To the eye – A deep garnet red robe, of a silky density, where light dances with a velvety intensity.
On the nose – First, aromas of ripe blackcurrant and wild blackberry, followed by a hint of cedar and blonde tobacco, before concluding on a saline and chalky note, the signature of the great Graves terroirs.
On the palate – A broad and precise texture, carried by a lively acidity and a taut minerality, stretching into a long and persistent finish where gentle spices and candied dark fruits intertwine.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.

A sunny vintage, marked by perfect ripeness and rare concentration, imparting to this wine a balanced structure and a remarkable aging potential.
