The Château Haut-Brion 2001, a grand cru from Pessac-Léognan, is born from the graves of Bordeaux. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, it reveals notes of dark fruits and spices, aged in new barrels. Silky palate, melted tannins and vivid minerality. Tasting Notes for Château Haut-Brion Haut-Brion 2001
To the eye – A dense and luminous garnet-red robe with still-vibrant reflections, betraying a preserved youthfulness.
On the nose – A bouquet where wild blackberry, fresh cedar, a hint of blonde tobacco and a touch of graphite intertwine, all lifted by a subtle mineral salinity.
On the palate – A velvety texture, carried by a lively acidity and a melted tannic structure, where notes of licorice and cocoa unfold, leading to a finish of chalky length.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.

A vintage marked by optimal ripeness, combining concentration and freshness, typical of the great wines of Pessac-Léognan.
