Haut Brion 1968

Let yourself be seduced by the refinement of Château Haut-Brion 1968, an elegant red wine from Pessac-Léognan, Premier Cru Classé, produced by Domaine Dillon. A blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, this wine was born on gravelly soil mixed with clay and sand, in a temperate climate typical of the Bordeaux region. The 1968 vintage, marked by a cool summer and an early harvest, stands out for its discreet finesse. Aged for 22 months in new oak barrels, it develops a delicate, perfectly balanced structure. On the palate, it offers elegant aromas of black cherry, old leather, tobacco and undergrowth, enhanced by a touch of minerality. Its velvety texture and supple tannins culminate in a harmonious finish. Ideal for a confidential tasting or to enrich a cellar, this rare vintage is a true Pessac-Léognan nugget.
