The Château Lafite-Rothschild 2022, a jewel from Pauillac, comes from gravel and limestone soils. With 94% Cabernet Sauvignon, it blends Merlot and Petit Verdot for aromas of blackcurrant and cedar. The palate is silky, mineral and fresh. Ideal for ageing, it pairs beautifully with red meats and cheeses.
A legendary estate rooted in the terroir of Pauillac, where exacting standards and heritage have been passed down for more than four centuries.
- Terroir : Deep gravel soils and a limestone subsoil of Pauillac, shaping wines of mineral elegance and precise structure.
- Vinification : Meticulous blending, ageing in new oak barrels and respect for tradition for a pure expression of the terroir.
Tasting notes for Château Lafite-Rothschild 2022
- To the eye : A deep ruby robe with garnet reflections, of a silky density and crystalline brilliance.
- On the nose : Aromas of fresh blackcurrant, wild blackberry and cedar, lifted by a touch of graphite and a subtle saline note, evoking the minerality of the gravelly soils.
- On the palate : A velvety texture, carried by a lively acidity and an elegant tension, with fine tannins and a long finish, marked by hints of liquorice and flint.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.

An early and sun-drenched vintage, where the ripeness of the grapes combines with a remarkable freshness for a wine of great precision.
