The Cristal Brut 2009 from Louis Roederer draws its elegance from the chalky terroirs of the Grands Crus. Blending Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, it reveals notes of yellow fruits and roasted hazelnut. The palate, silky and mineral, lingers with freshness. Ideal until 2035 with scallops.

- Winemaking: Precise blending, partial aging in oak barrels, respect for the lees for a lively texture and a pronounced minerality.
Tasting notes for Louis Roederer Cristal Brut 2009
To the eye – Pale gold robe with amber highlights, of a silky clarity and a chalky density that heralds a generous substance.
On the nose – Aromas of candied citrus compote, ripe apricot, honeysuckle in bloom, then a saline touch of roasted hazelnut and toasted bread.
On the palate – Smooth and taut texture, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality; the finish, long and saline, reveals a persistent elegance.
Serve between 8 and 10 °C in a tall flute or a wide-mouthed champagne glass to release its aromas.

A sunny and balanced vintage, where the ripeness of the grapes preserved a vibrant freshness, ideal for wines meant for aging.
- Aging potential: 15 to 20 years under optimal conditions (stable temperature between 12 and 14 °C, away from light).
