Born on the gravels of Pauillac, the Petit Mouton 2016 (Château Mouton Rothschild) blends 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, and 3% Cabernet Franc. Its notes of blackberries and cocoa precede a fresh and mineral palate. Perfect for 10 to 15 years, it complements meats and aged cheeses beautifully.

Tasting notes for Château Mouton Rothschild Petit Mouton 2016
- In the glass : A deep carmine robe with violet hues, of a silky density and captivating brilliance, heralding a wine of great concentration.
- On the nose : A generous bouquet where aromas of wild blackberries and fresh blueberries mingle with notes of roasted cocoa beans and a mineral touch of graphite, evoking the complexity of the terroir.
- On the palate : The attack is fleshy and lively, carried by elegant tannins and a smooth texture. The chalky minerality and gentle spices balance with a precise acidity, leading to a saline and persistent finish.
Serve between 16 and 18°C, in a Bordeaux glass to release the full aromatic palette.
