The Château Mouton Rothschild 2008, born on the gravel of Pauillac, combines power and elegance. Its aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant and cedar unite with a silky and mineral palate. Perfect for aging until 2040, it enhances red meats and game.
Pauillac, a land of legends where gravel shapes the soul of great wines – a family estate elevated to Premier Cru Classé in 1855, where every bottle bears the mark of a unique artistic and viticultural heritage.
- Terroir : Deep gravel of Pauillac, poor and well-drained soils that concentrate the expression of Cabernet Sauvignon, offering structure and minerality.
- Vinification : Aging in new oak barrels, respect for natural balances and precise blending for a cuvée that is both powerful and refined.
Tasting notes for Château Mouton Rothschild Mouton Rothschild 2008
- On the eye : A deep red robe with garnet reflections, dense and brilliant, revealing a generous substance and a silky texture from the very first glance.
- On the nose : Aromas of ripe blackcurrant and wild blackberry intertwine with floral notes of violet, before giving way to accents of cedar and a saline touch, the signature of the Pauillac terroir.
- On the palate : A powerful yet elegant attack, carried by creamy tannins and a lively acidity that brings tension and freshness; the finish, long and mineral, leaves a saline impression and a remarkable persistence.
Serve at 16–18 °C in a Bordeaux glass to fully release its aromas.
