Nestled in the heart of Pauillac, this legendary estate has embodied Bordeaux excellence since the 17th century, combining family heritage with viticultural precision.

Tasting notes for Château Lafite Rothschild 2000
To the eye – A deep, opaque ruby-purple robe, where light reflects with an almost velvety intensity, heralding a wine of rare concentration.
On the nose – First, fresh aromas of blackcurrant and wild blackberry, followed by deeper notes of cedar, blonde tobacco and graphite, before a saline touch underlines the chalky minerality of the terroir.
On the palate – The texture is silky and enveloping, carried by a lively acidity and elegant tension; the tannins, both structured and integrated, deliver a finish of remarkable length, where gentle spices and hints of caramel intertwine.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to enhance its complexity.
